- Laila was 8 lbs. 4oz. and 20" long when she was born. Sadly, she had to stay in intensive care her first 4 days of life due to low blood sugar levels and she could not keep any food down. She was hooked to I.V.'s and feeding tubes. But, she is in perfect health now and is the joy of me and my husband's life. She is a challenge so far, but is still my beautful, sweet baby girl.
