- Cliff
 - 21 years old
- Cliff is the son of one of my previous foster children who needed a place to live and parenting. He moved in when he was about five and is now living independently. He calls me Grandma.

- 23 years old
- Jesse is Cliff's older brother. He came to me to finish high school. He is now serving proudly in the Marines in Singapore.

- Ruth
 - 29 years old
- Ruth was placed with me as a foster daughter while she was in high school and has remained close through college and family; she is the mother of two daughters and lives only a few miles away.

- Shaina
- 32 years old
- Shaina is married and the mother of my precious granddaughter, MissMyaPapayaTootsieRoll, who is four years old (but infinitely wiser). Shaina has a degree in Fine Arts, and she and her husband and child live with me.

- Thomas
- 37 years old
- Thomas had a difficult birth; I was very sick with an infection and when he was born, his Apgar was not what it should be. He was later diagnosed with minimal brain damage, ADHD, and finally, as an adult, bi-polar. Luckily, he is able to live on his own and has a decent job and a fiance.

- 38 years old
- Donna came to me as a foster daughter when she was 15 and stuck around. She is married and has two young sons and lives close by.

- Teresa Lee
- 44 years old
- Teresa was a toddler when I first met while working in a residential treatment facility back in the 70's. She was on my caseload, and I subsequently spent a lot of time with her. I fell in love with her and brought her home with me.

- 45 years old
- Teri came to me as a foster daughter at age 13 and never left. She is married, the mother of two adult sons and step-mom to another. She lives nearby!
