I've had 2 c-sections. My last child was born vaginally. I had a homebirth.

I had a wonderful water birth with a midwife. I wanted to pass on to you to go with your gut feelings. You CAN do this. Don't let other opinions sway you. I researched like mad and asked tons of questions and ended up going with what made me feel "right". It didn't matter that my mom wanted to throttle me because I was putting my baby "at risk". I knew, for me, to labor and deliver my baby, I needed to be comfortable. I did what was comfortable and safe, to me! It was an awesome birth. I can't wait to do it again! :)

I am for sure going to go with a VBAC. My husband and I are all for the a natural birth, don't know if I well do the water thing but if possible I well. My first appoinment with my midwife is Jan 6th. that seems so far away.

i am personally planning my second c (after an emeg with the first like you) the risk of uterus rupture is a lil too much for me.

I had a drug free vaginal birth.

I totally support VBACing mamas. :) It's safer for both you and baby. Check out this website. It has great info. http://www.ican-online.org/

Nope, I am going to have my third. After discussing it with doctors I trust, I don't want to risk anything. A friend of mine tried to do a VBAC and her baby died. To me, MY comfort is not worth the risk to my child.

I had a c-section and hope to have a vbac next time around. I have a doctor that does my paps and he's for vbacs and told me that if my next pregnancy goes well, he'd try to let me delivery vaginally.

my first was a C-section, then i had a vbac that went all wrong, and almost ended in another c-section. my son was born 39 hours later not breathing and was taken to the NICU, he was lack of oxgyen...i will never use a midwife again. i am now pregnant with baby#6 and will have a csection with this one. i have had 4 csections, and one vbac. i trust my doctors!

My cousin had a VBAC, and she said it was a breeze! But, ultimately, you (and you OB/midwife) have to decide what's right for you

My 1st son was vaginal but then my 2nd was an emergency c-section. When I got pregnant with my 3rd they gave me the option of vbac or not just depending on whatever made me comfortable. After researching and much thought I just felt more comfortable with another c-section. I have had 3 c-sections total and I do not regret my decision. In the end it comes down to what makes you comfortable and makes you feel safe. I am sure you will make the best choice for you and your baby.
