I get so tired of hearing how moms who are married or living with their DH (still have no idea what a DH is) they are given the luxary of being a stay at home mom and still complain that they have to much work to do. I'm not tooting my own horn but, I am a single parent have been for 14 years and raised twin boys and worked full time. My house was clean, the garbage was taken out everynight before bed. I'm wondering just how many mom's are out there that are real single parents?

Are you a single parent? or a stay at home mom?

I live with my SO, we have a beautiful 7 month old baby boy, I work full time, 40 hrs. SO works 60-70 hours a week so I pretty much do everything at home. I'm not complaining. This is our family and we both do what we have to to make it work.

I'm a single mom, but I have a friend that likes to play daddy sometimes and I let him and his family take care of my son for a few days at a time so I can get a break. I work and go to school full time.

Well, I have a diff situation. I am a single mom and a SAHM. My dh passed away 2 yrs ago and life has been really different, but I can not complain as I have been very blessed with great family and friends. While money is not what is used to be by any means we have enough to live on. I plan on returning to teaching in a few years.

I am a SAHM but have been a single working mom (worked 12hr+ shifts 5 days/wk). I am only a SAHM cause of my DH's (dear husband) school schedule is so crazy I can't work my schedule around it and we can't afford daycare for 2 kids. I miss working and feel bad for not contributing as much as I use to (still have money coming in from child support and disability).

I am a married SAHM who also did work in the home for many years. For most of this year I haven't, but will be running a new business next year. We all have it hard in some ways, but we plan our life out so that we can live a certain way and it comes with great sacrifices.

LOL - DH means "dear husband," but I usually just spell it out - ha ha!

Nope, I'm a married, full-time college student very soon to be a married full-time worker. We keep the house clean, laundry done, dishes done, and home-cooked meal almost every night. :-)
