Open the phone book and go down the line of the bigger churches and see if they can help.

Luckily we haven't needed any help, but if we did my SO's father is always asking us if we need any help with anything financially.
There's a group called "MOMS WHO CANT AFFORD CHRISTMAS FOR THE KIDS" here on CafeMom. It's a wonderful group and several families have been helped. Check It Out... http://www.cafemom.com/group/30509

How about hitting the dollar store or the dollar section in target. Just dig around for some change, Christmas isnt about gifts its about Christs birth, so make a family day out of it and enjoy life. Blessings

Maybe you could ask a family member to help. take a visit to a relatives house but def. make it a nice family day anyway. Take ur kids to the park. maybe tell em stories about what christmas is really all about. Take em to christmas tree lightings. stuff like that you dnt always have to spend money to enjoy the holidays. thats a good lesson to learn young anyway.

I am sorry to hear. :( I know what having money problems is..trust me! Well ask the church and the dollar store is a good idea to get a few knickknacks. Hope you enjoy your holidays anyway! :)))

If you have kids, see if there is a Toys 4 Tots in your area.
