Grew up in the Pacific NW, I miss the smell of evergreen trees everywhere, and Christmas makes up a bit of my homesickness, so I insist on REAL OR NOTHING! ;)

Would love a real one but it is not feasible because of my animals and children.

I have one real one in my great room. I have two fake ones in other parts of the house.

I love the smell of real trees but fake trees don't leave needles all over the carpet, dry out, or cost a lot of money. We picked up the last one over 50% off. The other thing about real trees is that I hate wasting a live tree for just a few weeks pleasure. If you insist on using a live tree, find one that can be planted after Christmas.

i heard a funny quote on tv the other night: "You comment on a Christmas tree like you would your girlfriend, if they're real-say they look fake, if they're fake-say they look real!"

Actually we have a real tree in our living room and then we usually have 3 other artificial trees. (one on the landing between 1st & 2nd floors, one in 2nd floor hallway and one on the 3rd floor family room) I love decorating. We live in a historical home built in 1898 and it's perfect for holiday decorating and spending time with family & friends...

I like to keep my home very warm. So warm that when you take off your coat you are comfortable immediately. A real tree falls apart in a few days from the heat.
