i had my 2 year old and my step son color and draw pictures on one side of leftover green envelopes from my baby shower, they were considered the "card" portion and inside i put a photo of all 3 boys that i sent from my computer to walgreens to have printed
they are so cute, personal and super cheap! only $5 to print 25 photos and the envelopes and coloring were free. free stuff is awesome!

I like to do a homemade photo card. My mom always sends a Christmas letter every year, which is fun to recieve, but can be a lot of work, too.

We do a boxed card with a letter and photo. But I have a photo printer, and can buy the paper in bulk really cheap. We only do a wallet sized photo, either of DS or the family.

I have a Hallmark program I usually use to make cards with photos of my kids on the front(I deck them in holiday looking attire LOL).
This year tho, I had to settle for a cheap box of cards because I just dont have the funds to buy what I need for my usual thing.

This year we are making the card with stamps and stickers (DS asked if we could) and inside we will put pictures of the kids and a family letter. More personal then the store bought ones and I think our new tradition.

I always make our cards...I'm a "semi-part-time" scrapper (basically just cards LOL)....but I had my first in I don't think I'm even going to send any cards this year....I still haven't figured out this whole being-a-mom-and-having-enough-time-to-do-anything-else thing yet.... :P
