I am trying to decide on a christmas present for my boyfriends parents. We have decided that it will be a picture of the four of us, aka me, my boyfriend, my daughter, and my pregnant belly. I am just unsure of the format to put it in.

Just frame the photo. That's what we do with our inlaws.

The Christmas before last we had family pics taken and on pic was of DD kissing DS on the cheek. DS was a baby at the time. It is a large pic and it was sepia toned and we framed it. We gave it to DH grandma as a present and she cried.

A picture for a Christmas present? For his parents? I'd get an expensive frame to put it in. Sterling silver is nice for a frame. You can even get it engraved.

My MIL has let us know that pictures of her grandchildren do not count as gifts, even in an expensive frame....funny how now she does not get pictures or gifts!!!

How about a digital photo frame? You can put a ton of photos on it, and add as the family & kids grow!
