Description:
I would like to know how long you have had your front load washer with or without any problems.

If you were buying a New Washer & Dryer, would you buy the new Front Load ones. I have heard that the washing machines have been reported as leaking around the door?

I wouldn't but one because I have heard of the same problems, plus I have also heard that they are more difficult to repair when other things go wrong. I had a relative that had one, and it was one problem after another with it. I'm glad she got it before I had got my set, after all her troubles I got a standard washer and dryer set. Good Luck!!!!

We had a front load washer when we lived in England and now I have a top loader.  I will never buy a top loader again!  They are so hard on clothes.  Clothes lasted much longer with my front loader.

I would shop around first before making any choices.

We have had a front loader for 7 1/2 years & love it! We have had some problems with the knobs on the matching dryer, but they have both been great for washing our clothes - besides, with a front loader even my 2 year old helps load and switch over the laundry!

When purchasing anything, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the reviews and research as much as possible. With these, you do get what you pay for. I just got mine this past Saturday and I LOVE mine. Maytag 3000 series and I have not had any problems so far and I have washed 20 loads of laundry. A friend of mine had these and she has 6 kids so I know if they worked for her, they would for me.

My mom and I have both had a front loader and we hated it. I'd much rather have a cheap top loader, they work a LOT better.

We recently bought a new set. Old fashioned top loading. I have a problem spending that much money on a washer. I have never had any issues with my old top loaders.

I'm not sure if you're talking about a specific brand?... but I have a GE frontloader. We built our house in '01 and the washer was brand new then and we've never had a leak.

5 years into owning it a piece somewhere inside came loose and made it so it wouldn't drain. We had it repaired and haven't had a problem since.
