My kids are 8, 7, 6 and 2 and I haven't said anything to them. They can all figure it out on their own like I did.

I tried to do Santa but my oldest was never fooled. I don't really like to anyway so I gave up when he was about 4 or 5.

I didn't tell them so much as they figured it out.

I honestly did not tell them. Kids in school told my kids because of an older sibling rivalry. I just wanted them to hang on to being young for as long as they could. As I told them both before they turned 18 and to this day( I have a 19 and a half year old daughter and my son turns 18 this Monday 12/15) Be a kid for as long as you can and enjoy being young because the day you turn 18 yrs.old- you are an adult for the rest of your life. I also say when you think about it 18 years sounds so small and is small compared to the rest of your life.

My daughter was 12 when she figured it out. She kept bugging me about it so I told her.

Never... Though it's funny, cause for the longest time they thought the UPS man was Santa. He was always dropping off packages.

They really figured it out for themselves, but preferred to play along with the fiction for fun.
