A panic attack is a serious medical condition, and they should have treated it as any other medical condition. You should not feel guilty, your health comes first.

Get a dr.s note. You may even be eligible for social security/disability if your problem is interfering with your job. Although most medications will help, after 6 months of treatment, and the worst of the problem will subside. Been there, good luck.

I was a sufferer of panic attacks. It can be controlled completely by medicine. Only bad thing is you will always be on that medicine. Paxil worked for me. No one understand my attacks and at first where nice bout it then towards the end everyone thought i was having them to get out of doing something. It is a horrible experience and my prayers are with you.

I had panic attacks and now that I am on Zoloft I don't have them any more. I had really bad anxiety and am so glad it's gone now. You need to go to your doctor's and get on some meds. You don't have to live with panic attacks.

^^^What an ass if you don't like the question skip it.
This is a medical condition she is already having problems she doesn't need someone telling her to get over it. If you are going to be rude for something serious don't answer!
