Oops, I meant $100 per child. And, if it's an infant (under 12 months) I'd say it should be $150 a week. I know a couple providers in my area that charge those rates.

I would have to say not being licensed, trust would be a concern for some parents, not to mention if you are charging per child @ a hundred bucks a pop, most are not going to be able to afford that if they have 3 kids. I would definately chat with other daycares and find out their rates. Since they are licensed they should charge a little more than you.

I would rate it via family situation and the number of children per family. And I would not charge the same rate for part time as I would full time.

    Just my thoughts...

$100 per week Def. I'm thinking about the same thing If I get an at home job being a CSR, so I'd be home with the sitter, and I think that's reasonable.

Around here it's $20 per day per child... Which is why I have a home business. I couldn't afford to work!

It depends on where you live.....In my town it is only $75 a week.....I have not worked in a while, but the last time I did it was only $60 and this is for a liscensed business day care. The home daycares are a little less....yet the "pre-school" day cares that "teach" your child are around $100 a week.

Unless someone was my personal friend, I'd never take my child to an unlicensed daycare.
