i didn't vote because i don't think there are enough options.
on the one hand, it angers me to know that the ceo's involved flew in private jets to ask for the first bailout and because of that i don't think they deserve it.
another reason i don't think they deserve the money is because they are in this financial situation for a reason. if they were producing a better product then perhaps this would not be happening to them.
then there are the millions of americans who work for these companies and i don't think they should lose their jobs when it's in our power to prevent it.

Ok how about all of the $ goes to the workers, not the CEO's!

I think it is ridicolous that we are yet again bailing out more companies. I think that instead of bailing out any of the companies they should have given the money to tax payers what better way to jump start the economy by giving us money to spend. Even if they would have given each working adult 10,000 it would have been cheaper than what they did it.

No way!! This is not even the first time GM has asked for money if they haven't figured out how to run thier business by now they never will. I feel sorry for th eworkers but whatever happened to capitalism? If my business went under I wouldn't get a baiolout to save my few employees now would I ?

I think it's a lose-lose situation. Yes, the CEO's are pigs (showing up to the hearing in their private jets to ask for bailouts) but I feel for the people who would lose their jobs. I have no solution.

The govt should help out, to save jobs from being lost, but with the stipulation that all execs have to take HUGE pay cuts & the golden parachute benefits need to evaporate immediately~their pay & benefits should match their employees' benefits, or maybe be just SLIGHTLY better, but not like they are now.

I think what is goose is good for the gander. They gave bailouts to the banks that employ less people. They should do so for the car companies too. I'm more upset over the systematic dismantlement of rules and regulations over the last ten years that allowed the mess to happen.

If they would make cars that aren't so fancy, and cheaper more people could afford a new car. Years ago you had to pay for all the extra's! Now it comes standard.
