When they show interest and it seems like they are ready.

I chose 2 because I think that's a pretty average number, but there are some kids who are ready before and others who just aren't ready for it. If you push too hard too soon sometimes it just makes it worse so it's really all about when the child is ready for it.

It also depends on the child and when they are ready for it.

Never. I don't potty-train. I encourage the use of a potty, and go along with my child.

I usually do mine right at or right before 2, but I'd love to have my little guy done sooner. Definitely ASAP.

I said two years old because I think that is when most kids start to potty train, but as soon as they show interest in it...it shouldn't be rushed.

Well that is a tough one i think it is easier to potty train them early around 1 n half becoz they dont quit fight it as much nd they dunt feel as uncomfortable doing it. Nd i also think it does depend on the child to how they respond to it if they understand on how to pull they pants up nd down nd or be able to tell u wen they have to go... nd i think it is easier to do in the spring summer months less clothes on nd less to wash... so that may also depend on ur childs age too. I DO NOT THINK PULL UPS HELP AT ALL!!! I DIDNT USE EM FOR NEITHER OF MY BOYS!!! they have never had n accident while they were sleeping. You should also watch their intake on drinks b4 bed too that also helped with mine. I potty trained during the day nd naps first then when they got that down I started to do it at nite too.... it worked with mine they were both potty trained b4 they were atleast 2nd half....
