mine used to love being on his belly when he was first born he would fall asleep immediatly! but everyone said he could smother himself so i got very paranoid and would never lay on his belly. now he screams when hes on his stomache and immediatly rolls over! no tummy time for him i guess

i think for sure they do sleep better on their bellies but they say ur not supose to but i think if they throw up on their backs they can choke so if you dont want to put them on their belly then i wud perfer sides then. I do think u shud rotate the baby so they dunt get flat heads nd or bald on one side more then the other too.... just my opinion.

I put my daughters on there back and they would eventually roll to there tummy's. But I still laid them down on there backs because we had a 3 month old die in my house when I was like 8 from SIDS.

My daughter could hold her head up and turn it around at birth so at about 6 weeks I put her on her belly to sleep. Guess when she started sleeping through the night (except for 1 really really quick feeding and then right back to sleep)? Yup, 6 weeks!
