I believe that you should not be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ and should witness boldly to those who are interested and asking questions, but you should not be "in your face" or antagonistic about your beliefs. If you do, then non-believers will be turned off and may consider you a hypocrite.

I am a very private person when it comes to my faith. It is between me and God.

I agree with Cheryl. We are to proclaim the Gospel boldly. I love nothing more than sharing my faith, and if a question is asked on here, or a comment is made, I'm not going to just sit quietly back, and not say anything. I will never stop proclaiming my faith, or my God!

Honestly, I believe there's a time and place for everything.

NEVER be ashamed. I believe in standing up for/defending Christ. But in the Bible, except for the time Jesus found the vendors in the temple using what was holy for personal profit, Jesus was never pushy.

Oh, he offended plenty when He was defending Himself and God, but when people wanted to know about His teachings, they came to Him. He didn't have to shove his way in the door - He was invited.

Both... I believe in a great multitude of gods. I figure there are certain gods that would love for us to be loud and others that by nature would prefer quiet devotion and yet others that really don't care either way.

I believe that we are to be humble in all things. We should defend our beliefs, but do so in a way that is respectful to all.

I definitely believe we are to be humble including regards to our beliefs. There is nothing wrong with loving the Lord and proclaiming it as long as you are not being condescending or snarky. I know a couple of my fellow Christians who are too in your face, combative, and defensive when it comes to their convictions and it turns people off and giving people the inclination that Christianity is an intolerable faith which according to the gospel it is not!  Jesus would never have spoken in that manner, and neither should we. Just with most other things, you get more bees with honey than with vinegar. I enjoy sharing my love for the Lord, however, I do so when the door is opened to me and try not to bash people over the head with my bible who are not up to receiving the word. We need to remember that the bible says we should be quick to listen and SLOW TO SPEAK.

I think it depends on the circumstances.

To each their own, you're supposed to be having a personal relationship with God, who cares about what everyone else believes, you don't have to shout and holler to the world, b/c really we don't know the truth yet!
I'm christian, but I get tired of my religion group being loud and boysterous about what they think is right, I don't completely agree with all the beliefs.
We will know the truth when we die. I do believe in God, angels, and the devil/demons.

humble. it even says so in the bible. always have humility, and i think jesus was probably a very quiet and gentle person that while he was willing to spread the word, he never tried to force it on others or be overly agressive, he let people come to him and let god in on their own time. i don't think jesus would have gone door to door telling others that they would go to hell if they didn't beleive every single thing he said
