I love orajel too. My sons teeth came in now a little after thanksgiving. He's 8 months old. Two small teeth comming in.
Every baby is different and my friends baby got teeth at 4 months old. She told me that I should give him baby water with floride in it, it helps with teeth getting stronger. I put distilled water in his formala for a while and after I stopped in Novemeber his teeth came in.
I gave him teething tablets from walmart. All you do is get a small pill either crush it and put it in his milk if you formala feed or you can just lightly water it and mash it in his mouth. My son loved to laugh when he got that.

My daughter was 3 months and had two teeth she had no problems at all. My son was a year with only four teeth and he had an awful time. We used teething tablets and he loved to chew those bitter biscuits from Gerber.

My oldest got his first 2 teeth at 5 months, my youngest got his first 2 at about 8 months. My oldest didn't seem to be affected at all, the youngest was a bit crankier than normal, but not bad enough for me to give him anything other than a teething toy.

you got me! mine is almost 7 months and has been teething for about 3 months now. the only thing that works really well for him is baby tylenol but i only use it when he absolutly needs it. the doctor said it was perfectly fine to use because he is 23 lbs but most babies his age can't have it yet so check with your doctor

My 2 YO daughter got her teeth the day before her 1st birthday!! at her check-up that same week her Dr. said as long as it was before 1 there is usually no problem. It looked like she would get them sooner, she was 'theething' for 6+ months and they just never came in. once they did every day she would wake up it seemed she had a new tooth. We just gave her chewy toys, but i wouldn't put them in the freezer, we also gave her a cold washcloth to chew on.

My daughter got her first tooth the day she turned 8 months, and then got a second tooth a week later.
