Sometimes he does. But it's not a big deal since he has to get up at 4:30am for work.

There would be no point in him waking, he doesn't have boobs.

he will wake up and hand her to me to feed... sometimes if she won't go back to sleep right away, he'll rock her to sleep... he gets up at 4am so he has the shift from 4:30am-5.45am when he leaves for work...

Well, since I was the only one that could nurse my son I got up most of the time, but my husband changed diapers in the middle of the night. :)

When they were babies, he did occasionally, but mostly it was me because he was up super-early for work, and I was a SAHM.

My oldest and my hubby share a room so that he can get up with him... He still doesn't sleep all night at 2. My baby and I have a room together because he only sleeps an hour or two at a time. So we both get up with kids every night but it's different kids...

I slept so hard and neaver heard my newborn, so my SO was always up with our new baby.

With my first baby I was alone, so my first DH doesn't count.
With my second baby, I bottle fed and she cried so much that I went crazy. My new DH took care of her most nights even though he had to work days. He was fantastic!
Our 3rd baby, I breastfed so he didn't need to get up and help, but he would occasionally just to talk to me or hug me or put the baby back to bed.

I breastfeed, so there's no reason for him to get up with her.
