    I don't think it comes off as an "old" name. It's totally fine. You can always call her Angie when she's little if you feel Angela is too "adult."

    My daughter's name is Agnes! How much older can you get than that?! LOL. It doesn't sound like an old name to me, it's beautiful!

    Its great, remember, we only stay babies a short time. Naming a child is really a lifetime name so, I think its just great!

    Angela is not a great name but if it's special to you then go for it.

    you can always call her angie or ang when shes little to keep it child like then angela as she gets older. its a nice name

    I love the name Angela (it was my aunts name) and really, there are plenty of cutsie baby nicknames. The important thing is it will be a fabulous "grown up" name. You don't want to be a lawyer or doctor and have some baby or bizarre name.
