Okay, I know everyone thinks it's cute to have similar names for twins. I hate it when you get to looking at some of the problems it causes. I work in the medical field and charts get confused when the names are too similar, so there's something to think of. My second point to make is this, and this really only applies if they are identical twins: They are going to spend a big bulk of their lives trying to be more than just a twin (a carbon copy if you will). I think since they are 2 individuals they should have 2 unrelated names. So there's my opinion, which isn't the authority. If you love the names, name your babies, you have to bring them into the world

Names that are too similar are confusing and may cause problems further down the line for them. Twins often have trouble trying not to be considered as a single entity ("the twins") and giving them names that sort of bunch them together doesn't really help. Give each an individual name to help them be an individual ... It may seem cute to give them names like that but cute isn't always the best criterion for name choosing.

My twins are called Estelle Duana and Lรฉonie Ailsa. We live in France but I'm a Scot so they have a Scottish name and a French name each that are easy for both sides of the family to pronounce.

i wouldnt give them similatr names just becasue that will get agervated in the end because they get them mixed up. if those four names are what you like mix them up but dont give them similar names

Maybe you could do a theme instead of similar names...
Gabriella and Micheala/Mikayla (arc angels Gabriel and Michael) or Lillian and Roseana .. just a thought.. I totally agree on the rudeness thing.. If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.. Please don't do names with the same first letter.. I'm Camilla and my sister is Claudia and even though we are 2 years apart people still screw it up. INCLUDING RElatives. Just ask my mom Linda and her sister Brenda. That 's a nightmare also...
