Description:
This is just something that annoys the crap out of me that a friend of mine does, then gets offended when I call her babies by the wrong names.

Since "all of the above" wasn't a choice, I voted "other" hehe

I think it's cute if it isn't over done. My girls are 2 years apart and they thought it was cute to having matching outfits. I happened to have 2 dresses, the exact same style but different styles and colors. They were hand-me-downs and just happened to fit my girls when they were 3 and 8 months. My 3yo thought it was awesome that she had a dress that matched her little sister. She begged to wear it whenever she could.
When they got bigger they would pick out outfits that matched. And my son would play along by picking a shirt that matched them.
As long as it isn't every day I have found that kids like to dress alike.
My dd's two best friends in school are identical twins and whenever they aren't in uniform I see them in matching clothes. they are 8 or 9 years old. I can't tell them apart but my daughter can.

I think it's cute occasionally, but not all the time. I have dressed Mason and Wyatt alike a time or two, but all the time annoys me. I think people do it just so you know they have twins and they don't! It annoys me when they name then rhyming names too. *shrug*

my aunt had 4 girls really close together and she made all their clothes. They were really pretty poor and it was alot cheaper to get material in bulk and make the same outfits. Perhaps there's some sort of benefit monetarily to dressing them the same?? IDK, I think twins dressed alike is cute---as long as they don't do it all the time.

When my cousins got old enough to talk, my aunt left it up to them. She asked them, "Do you want to dress like twins or do you want to dress differently?" One said "twins" the other said "different."

For same sex twins it could be that it make laundry easier. I dress mine in coordinating outfits but mine are also b/g and I think its cute. If they get older and say mom I don't want to I will stop.

Oh my gosh - I knew girls who dressed alike still in high school. Painted their nails the same, did their hair the same, same purses, same makeup....and they got offended when people got them confused!! So funny!

But I do think it's cute in little kids. :-)

i think its cute. My kids are not twins (17 months apart) and different genders and I often dress them matching.
