Some pain pills are nice to have,I have no complaints about having to take them when they are prescribed,or someone gives u some..but I do not believe in letting an addiction control your life,u have to have will power.

No, but if I get vicodin prescribed for my teeth or something, I tend to go through it like candy. Same with fioricet.

Some people take them without a choice, except be in TERRIBLE pain or not. I take them cause I have to, not cause I want to. I've had neck surgery and the doctors have told me for 4 years that I need back surgery. I have degenerative disk disease in both neck and back and sometimes it's overwhelming. You have to keep in mind that you're taking them because you need it and not cause you want to. Some points are worse than others for me and I can get by with an Ultracet, which is not narcotic. Some people just have an addicting personality and don't even try to NOT be addicted

I am taking Ultram...I would say I'm addicted. Have been taking it for almost 7 years for pain and if I don't take it I get the shakes and horrable feelings. My doctor says it's because I've taken it for so long and that in a way I am addicted to it. She said after I have my surgery I'll have to wean off of it.

I am and i do not care. I HAVE HAD FIVE SPINAL SURGERIES. I have to take these pills on a daily basis and my physician understands completely which is VERY unusual. I have permanent nerve damage in one leg, ealk with a limp and have chronic back and neck pain from all the hardware in my body. I would give these up in a heartbeat if i could live one day pain free. People judge too quickly aobut this shit.
