Yeah, I wanted your option that was miswritten, so I'd clicked other.

I had them in my uterus. It causes infertility and they can be painful. I had to have a hysterectomy. Thank God I already has two kids, a boy and a girl. We wanted three but I was told after the second if I became prego again it could hurt me and/or the baby. I had other problems going on tho.

Gina1998,I think you're thinking of something else. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects the mucus in the body. It cause respitory and digestive problems and the average life span is only 35 yrs old. Thank you for visiting my poll, though. And I'm sry you had whatever you did have. doesn"t sound very pleasant atall.

My daughter had a friend pass away at the age of 12 with Cystic Fibrosis. It is a very awful disease.

I know what it is because I learned about it in my medical classes... no one I know is affected by it though.

I have a very good( or used to be) friend who has suffered from CF. He is now 35 and had a double lung transplant last year. He was hospitalized alot when he was younger and we were close. He is an amazing person and has beaten many odds that have always been against him. I truly admire him, he has never felt sorry for himself and has, really, lived a pretty normal life.

My cousin Lenea died of Cystic Fibrosis two years ago. It was very very sad. She was only 19.
