You need older options, just so you know.
I didn't potty-train my son. I let him start using the potty when he was ready, which was close to his fourth birthday.

I agree with RanaAurora. I waited until each of my three kids was ready and willing and they were all between 3.5 and 4 years old. It was much easier than forcing them and having messes to clean up all over the place.

I bought a potty chair for my daughter when she was almost 2 years old and let her use it as she wanted, we just kept it where we could see her using it. She was potty trained by her 2nd birthday

My son was 4 when he started using the toilet. No potty here. My daughter is doing the same thing. She will be 4 in May.

I was going to the university, and they have a childrens' center. Children must be potty trained and 2 1/2 to attend. We told my daughter she could go to school with Mommy if she was potty trained. The bribe worked like a charm!

It wasn't until after my son's 3rd birthday that he was completely potty trained. The hard part was getting him to use the potty for the very first time. After that it was cake. He even sleeps with underwear on and hardly any accidents.
