I told him if he ever did, he better knock me out and disappear because he would have to sleep sometime and when he did, I would tie him up naked, super glue his balls to his leg and post pics on the internet. Making sure all his family got them.

My hubby better run fast if he ever hit me. I'd kill him and he knows it. I would put him in the hospital without a blink of an eye.

There was a dark time in my life where I was with the wrong person.... he beat me and was very very abusive and I was so low on myself he had me believing I deserved it, and I believed him when he said did it to prove he loved me. Finally I woke up , realized I can do so much better than that and didn't take it anymore. I am with a better person and I feel bad for my ex's new wife and child and hope he doesn't treat them the way he treated me....

My DH has hit me before but it has been rare and it has been after we have been in some of the biggest fights ever. I am not in some relationship like you see on TV where I get beat up or hit because dinner was late or because the dog made a mess or something. I have gotten hit becuase we were fighting about something and we were both being jerks and soemtimes I hit him first. I just hardly ever do the same caliber of damage that he does. I can understand now how women who have been beaten say that it was partially their fault. If I was ever in a place where I got hit for no reason or something and he was really hurting me I would leave. Just because I pushed him to far a handful of times I'm not going to end a relationship. And before you go bashing me remeber that other women answered the same way I did and just didn't comment or even more likely didn't answer at all.

i recently extricated myself from a 7 year long nightmare... the sob tried to run me over with the car while i was pregnant with his son... somehow it took me 18 more months to leave him, but here i am, free and clear! and alive... i'll say to whomever is dealing with the same, i know it sounds impossible to leave, but you can, and for the sake ofyour life. should.

No, mine never has. On our first date I told him that if he ever hit me I'd kick his sorry ass to the curb so fast his head would spin. And then I would call my dad who is a BIG guy - and he would probably open a can of whoop-ass on him!
