I'd say at least an hour... however at this time if year... if the temp's too cold or there's a cold wind chill temp... they obviously can't be out there for more than like 5-10 minutes at a time.

In the winter, they don't really play outside. IN the summer they are outside almost all day everyday.

My son is an avid skateboarder. Unless a hurricane is bearing down, he's out there skating. He'd rather skate than sleep. Pretty amazing to be that passionate about something, but he's very good, also. Guess it's all that practice.

It depends on the time of year. During the spring and summer they are outside all the time and I cant get them to come inside lol. Right now its winter and cold and we cant go out.

None in the winter really. They're lucky to get an hour a month. They only have recess if it is over 35 degrees (which tends to not happen here in the winter) and recess is only for 20 minutes. They rarely go out at home because there is nothing to do. It is freezing and none of their friends are out.
My middle two did play in the snow for about an hour the other day (before it all melted) and came in frost nipped and wind-burned. It wasn't pretty.
In the summer they spend most of the day outside, either riding their bikes, playing with their friends or swimming. At least my middle two. My oldest hates to go outside. It's like pulling teeth with her and my youngest can only go out if I'm not busy because I have to watch her.

Just depends on what season it is. During winter, they're in watching tv, playing wii; during other months, they're walking to the park, going fishing, etc.

My sister in law watches my kids while I am at work. I'm not if she lets the oldest play out side. I'm sure he play in the back yard if it is not to cold. I try and them out when it is just us on the weekends. It's hard with 10 month old twin girls to go any where.

They spent hours upon hours outside! They would much rather play baseball, basketball, or ride bike than watch tv or play video games. The best part? Out of 7, not a one of them is the least bit overweight and all were incredible athletes with 3 earning 4 year scholarships to college.

1/2 hour because my 4 month old and I take walks on nice days. Even when its a little chilly we bundle up. But we're in Texas so it's not that cold here.
