My DH and I were just talking about this. I was telling him how passionate some of the women on here are about the subject. He said flat out, "If you had wanted to keep our kids natural I would have had it done with out you." He said it's disgusting to have all that extra skin.

My views are more neutral than his but we did it anyways. I talked to my family, most of the older men in my family were never circed. They all (along with their wives) told me to do it. So we did. I figured who would know better than men that didn't have it right?!?

When I was pregnant with our first son, I asked my husband (who is circumcised) how he would feel if he wasn't done. He said that if his parents hadn't circumcised him, he would have had it done himself when he was older and that would have sucked. Both of our kids are done. It was an easy choice for us.

He's not and I don't think he cares one way or the other.

My hubby is and prefers it that way. We did it to our son as well. My doctor told me its worse for them if they have to did it where thier grown. I have a friend with 4 boys and NONE of them are circumsized and she goes through so much trouble making sure they clean right.

DH is and wishes he wasn't. DS is not. We see it as his choice to make if he wants.

My husband is not and if we had sons he would not have permitted it.  He says he can't imagine losing the sensitivity that goes with being cut.

My personal opinion is, if it isn't broken don't fix it.

My husband is very passionate about this, more so than I am. He would definitely hate it if he were circ'ed. I really do feel bad for all the little penises that are damaged every day by this senseless act.

They were made perfect, why mess with perfection?

My intact hubby is also quite passionate about it, and would never allow his sons to be circumcised, which is great for me as I'd never allow it either. Here in Europe it's the minority that's circumcised, and I personally don't know anyone who's not intact.

i think that it depends on the person and what they feel about it. either way is not wrong, it is a personal choice. to tell someone that they are evil parents because they circ there sons then i guess they are evil parents because their daughter will get her period for the next 60 years while a circ the pain last only a few days.

My husband is and he didn't even know it until I told him. I don't think he even thought about it or even cares, all that he cares about is if it works. LOL
