My DH and kids take me for granted a lot in a way. I know they do appreciate me some, but it goes unspoken so it's hard to guage.

Everyone takes me for granted in this house. It was pretty obvious on my birthday earlier this month. I got nothing from anyone. I woke up with a migraine and instead of trying to make me day as best as it could be my husband sat on his butt playing Rock Band as loud as he could. I did the dishes, fed the kids and felt like my head was going to explode the whole time. The only person that wished me a happy birthday was my dad.
Pretty typical around here. They all expect me to do everything for them but when it's my turn they all run for the hills or whine that they have to do things for me...or just flat out refuse to do anything for me.

I feel like they appreciate me, and I definitley appreciate them. My husband and kids are very sweet and affectionate and seem grateful for the things I do.
