At first I used them every time, but then I read that doing so can actually cause rashes. My son just potty trained, but when he was still in diapers we usually only wiped after poopy diapers. We used wet baby wash cloths instead of disposable wipes that leave chemicals on baby's skin.

Every time! I just thought, I would never pee and not wipe so couldn't see leaving pee on my son. And I would imagine for boys who aren't circumcised that not wiping would cause problems. My son is but I still wiped every time.

Once in a while I don't use a wipe just for pee, like if we're in a rush and I can't find them, but that's like .1% of the time. Otherwise, I use a wipe every time.

I only wiped poopy diapers and if it was an overnight diaper....just because the pee was more. A regular diaper change, nope. It's better for their skin NOT to use wipes.

If you are bathing your kids at least every other day or so, you don't need to use a wipe on them with EVERY PEE... It's healthier for their skin to air dry.

boys dont wipe when they pee... and pee is sterile, so think about it? i very rarely used wipes on my son, unless he had a poopy diaper. his skin was so sensitive so i felt like i was doing more harm than anything. when he was first born, i did though, because of his circumsicion.

poopie or when its stinky or just whenever. i like the smell of wipes but i know there are phalates and stuff like that in them, they do more harm , the only good think is its more pleasant when you wipe them, doesnt prevent illness or infection

i have two boys and they are now seven and five. I wipe when pooped, naturally and when it looked like they needed wiped after a pissy diaper.
i guess you should wipe more often, but you your bathing them often it should help too, but they both never had a diaper rash and are fine now. no side affects for not wiping often enough when wet

I use cloth diapers so nine times out of ten I am able to use the dry or clean section of the diaper for a "wipe". But when a "wipe" is still needed I use a warm soapy washcloth Only to prevent chemical esposure to my child.
