If I were the one who was uncomfortable feeding my baby, I'd go into the bathroom if it was the only place to go. Otherwise, I'd go into the bedroom. I always liked my personal privacy, but that was just me. I didn't want others to see my boobs...lol, but to each her own. If the mom is perfectly comfortable in the same room as everyone else, then no, she should NOT have to go hide in the bathroom.

Ditto what GoodMom said. She shouldn't HAVE to, but she shouldn't be forbidden either! I've done it, when I was out at a restaurant. He was hungry and I wasn't comfortable whipping it out at the table. It was too cold to go out to the car, and I wasn't going to make a stink. I didn't bother asking either. I was fine with it, he couldn't care less what the decor is. I shouldn't be forced to feed him in public any more than I should be forced to hide it. JMHO.

Im just making a point that not all of us feel comfortable with feeding kids in the bathroom I didnt mean to offend those who do prefer it Im sorry if I offended you.

Yeah, sorry, I got a tad defensive. I've just been a bit pissy lately and I took it personally. I've chilled a bit since, LOL! No harm, no foul.

If she doesn't have a cover then yes she should nurse in the bathroom or somewhere else that is private. I nursed both of mine and had no problems covering up. It's really not that hard, it's just a matter of having morals.

I think it would be a personal preference. I would say a bathroom or somewhere else if you didn't have a blanket or something to shield breastfeeding a little. Just because you don't mind breastfeeding in public doesn't mean that other people want their kids seeing your boobs. LOL.

if you breastfeed your child, pump it and bring a bottle with you when you go out. get your baby used to a bottle from the beginning so that she will take a bottle. nursing is a private thing to be done in your own home between you & your baby, me and my husband & my children dont want to see your baby sucking your tit while we are out xmas shopping. thanx.

no offense but I will nurse wherever I want and I dont care what you want to see I have a cover that I use so that you dont have to see my "tits" if that still offends you well thats just too bad my daughter is 7 months old and refuses bottles
