Description:
My sister is going to be 17 in Sept. she has no job she doesn't drive relies on my parents to drive her everywhere and buy her whatever she whats or needs . I think she needs to grow up and become more responsible since she is going to be 17 and a Junior . I know everyone is different but I think it's lazy . I was 15 when I got a job and 16 when I started driving because I wanted to go places without my parents and not rely on my parents to buy things for me .

I was 14 when I got my first job and dh was 15. I think it's good for kids to get jobs because it does teach responsibility.

I was working at 16 but I wouldn't want my children to have to get a job as long as they are in school. Maybe it does give them more responsibility but I want my children's only focus to be on school work and not have to worry about finishing papers and working.

IF I let my son get a job in High School it will only be limited hours and he will have to be off and home at a decent hour. When I was in HS I worked fast food and would not get home till 11-12 and I was so tired everyday at school that my work suffered horribly. He will have plenty of time his whole life to work!
