During a move I left a dvd player on the floor with some clothes on top of it. Someone stole the dvd player but I didn't have the doors locked so can't really say they broke into my car. It sucks that people are like that but it was my fault I guess.

My husband left the car unlocked once and someone from the bar next door opened the door and stole all of our change out of the ashtray. It wasn't just a grab and go job either because they left all the pennies and other random stuff that was in there (buttons and paper clips and things). They just took the quarters, nickels and dimes, lol. Actually they did it twice (my husband always forgot to lock the car).
Someone also bent our antenna in half on our van. We think it was in retaliation for not having any change left. The first time they probably got about $5.

Stupid me left the car doors unlocked with my purse plus other things in the car-at home-in the driveway. It was dark, they took my purse up the street and dumped it out and it was such an unorganized mess they couldn't find the money! Ha!

Yes, and vandalized. I've had my rear window broken out of two vehicles and my windshield badly cracked. A few times they've gotten in, but not taken anything and a couple times my hubby's caught someone trying to get into the vehicle and chased them off. The last time my rear window of my van had a can of beer thrown through it, so I had a smashed window, beer all through my van with glass shards stuck in it. What ticked my off most was that my car seat was covered in it. I don't live in a great neighborhood though, one day last summer there was a guy passed out in the back alley just behind my house.

I know it has happened to me once for sure.. But i left my brothers cell phone in there. I swear I left it in the cupholder, and i was looking everywhere. That night, I got a call from a guy, and i didn't reconize the number. (at midnight) Then my dad called me and told me he also got a call. I called back the phone and it was my brothers. I litterally freaked out and got so scared. They could of did it to my house, rather than my car, it's just scary for some reason.

i still miss my Ramones, Social D - Live at the Roxy, and Offspring CDs that were taken. I had them on a CD visor holder. the visor was broken off the little hinge and my cd holder was gone.

We was robbed by a stupid drug thief, that needed money for drugs. We get woken up by the door bell and when we opened the door, the officer asked us if the Red Truck in our driveway was ours. Well of course it is. This idiot of a thief broke into my SO's truck, took all his change a few cable boxes (he works for TimeWarner Cable) and guess what else the idiot grabbed. The GPS that my SO had on his dash board, just ripped it off leaving a big hole on the dash.
The officers found the guy up the road, standing suspiciously in a parking lot with a pile of stuff. When the officers pulled over he tried to hide, they found him hiding behind a building. After looking through his pile they found the GPS, turned it on, clicked Home on it and followed the directions straight to our house. Where they was able to determin where all the stolen items came from.
We couldn't help but laugh over the idiot, and was thankful that we got all the items back.

Nobody would want to break in to our crappy car. If they manged to get in, all we have in there is a crappy c.d. /radio system that's broken anyway. Have fun thieves! lol.

We never leave anything else in our car, c.d.'s nothing. We do also have a car seat, but that would be cheap to replace.
