1. What do you consider good grades for your teenager? What is unacceptable?
iwill have to say a's and b's r awesome, and d and f are not acceptable

2. How do you encourage teens to keep up with school work? Do you chck their home work?
i ask my daughter for the homework since she comes from school and after is done, i always check it and sign it... :)

always,she always bring me super good grades

5. If your kid was having difficulty in a certian subject how would you address this issue?
get help,speak to teachers,make her study after homework,etc

6. What lenths would you go to to ensure good grades? Hand pick better teachers? Take kids to a tutor?
i will try everything and anything for those grades, you have to be on top of them all the time...lol

yes, but before doing that i will ask for a loan,or to earn a scholarchip

for my daughter i will do anything,my goal is to see her happy doing whatever she wants and with lots of money...lol

I tell them it is the only thing that matters their school work is their job one.

Oh yeah, once in elementary school we made the promise that if they all got A's then we would get them a limo. Well it took until high school but they did it. The next week a limo was in the drive way. All three of them were like whoa? What's up with that. They were thrilled.

I think I would be cranky with out my house, car and sewing machine but the rest is up for grabs.

I think alittle of both. Bc sometimes it may get hard, and they think they can't do it. That's when you need to step in and try to give support and motivation.

cars house anything I had to for my child

dont get me wrong i want my children to excel in school, as do all parents, but i personally would not want my child to be a einstein, imagine the emotional damage that would mean, and cost them, children have their peers, and i wouldnt want my children to miss out on school with their friends because they were genius's!

I am an educator at the middle school level. I enjoyed reading some of the responses to the survey. It is refreshing to know that there are parents that are realistic and supportive.
